MyOratory
Privacy Policy
MyOratory is a place to pray. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, we never show advertising, and we never track you across other apps or websites. MyOratory is made by AgileFruit ("we", "us").
What stays on your device
Your prayers, meditations, prayer beads, settings, the pictures and music you add, and any recordings of your own voice are stored on your device. Pictures, music and recordings you add are never uploaded. If you delete the app, or clear the website's data in your browser, this information is removed.
If you create an account
An account is optional. MyOratory works fully without one. If you create one:
- We store your email address, or the private relay address that Sign in with Apple gives us, and a password that is stored only in hashed form.
- We store the prayers you save, so they appear on all your devices. Each person's prayers are protected so that only they can read them.
- We send you emails only to confirm your address or reset your password.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card or bank details. We use RevenueCat to confirm what you have bought; it receives an anonymous ID (or your account ID if you are signed in) and your purchase history.
The launch email list
If you give us your email address on this website to hear when the app is available, we keep it only for that purpose, write to you about the launch, and delete it on request.
Microphone, Bluetooth and notifications
- Microphone: used only when you choose to record yourself reading. Recordings stay on your device.
- Heart-rate monitor (Bluetooth): readings are shown while you pray and are never stored or sent anywhere.
- Reminders: Office reminders are scheduled on your device. No information is sent to us.

We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account information while your account exists. You can delete your account and everything synced to it at any time, in the app under Settings › Account › Delete account, or by writing to us. See how to delete your account. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately; backups are cleared within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you live in the UK, the European Economic Area or California, you also have the rights given by your local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
MyOratory is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
